    Poems and songs by Rabindranath Tagore featuring vocalist Maitreyee Chakraborty.

Rabindranath Tagore, the first non-European, first Asian Nobel Laureate poet of Bengal, India has written and composed more than 2000 songs. His non-religious,  spiritual songs are deeply philosophical and uplifting. The one-hour concert will feature recording vocalist Maitreyee Chakraborty, Mona Roy on harmonium and Debajyoti Basu on guitar. These artists will present poems and songs by Tagore that are relevant to today's world. The audience will see all lyrics translated on screen. This is a 'Tagore, Me, and You' production.

Trained from a young age by his celebrated father, Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta, Anirban presents the rich traditional repertoire of his particular musical lineage, the Shahjahanpur Gharana, with unparalleled finesse.

Immerse yourself in the tranquility and power of Hindustani ragas, framed by Joel's stories of travel and experiences learning in the rich oral tradition of Indian music.  Starting as a meditative and melodic invocation that builds to an ecstatic crescendo, Joel's concerts are a cascade of strings and beats that celebrate life and the depth of a rich musical tradition.

Skye Consort & Emma Björling perform trans-Atlantic arrangements of songs and tunes from Sweden, Norway, Ireland, Scotland, England, Québec, Acadia, the USA, as well as original compositions. Each musician brings their own individual interpretation to these traditions to create an extraordinary collaboration, consisting of voices, fiddle, nyckelharpa, cello, bouzouki, banjo, and percussion. Together they produce an assortment of whirling polskas, moving reels, passionate love songs, and breathtaking hymns and songs.

Oleg Kruglyakov and Terry Boyarsky have a compelling story and an instant rapport with audiences. They are known for their joyful, energizing performances. Listeners can expect, moving, exuberant interpretations which sometimes inspire dancing, sometimes evoke tears. Russian Duo was born out of love of traditional music and classical elegance. Oleg is a balalaika virtuoso from Siberia, trained at the prestigious Urals State Conservatory in Yekaterinburg. Terry is an American concert pianist, Dalcroze Eurhythmics teacher and Ethnomusicologist.
