The practice of pilgrimage has been part of Christian spirituality since the first apostles, after the death of Jesus, returned to those places in Galilee associated with his memory and learned, as they fished and ate meals together on the seashore, that he was still very much alive. This evening presentation with Ed Sellner will discuss some of the history and practice of pilgrimage in many cultures, common elements of pilgrimage through the ages, stages that frequently occur with those on pilgrimage, and how to develop in our own lives a sense of life as a pilgrimage through time."
