Silent Fire
Exploring Western Spirituality

Ten Sessions, the 2nd and 4th Sundays each month
beginning July 10 and 24 at 7:00 pm
with Robert Bowler
Picture
From Augustine to Thomas Merton, Christianity is permeated with mystics as well as those who uphold doctrine and ritual, the exoteric religion. Mystics see reality as a deep but trustworthy mystery. They seek to disclose the deeper structures, reach the hidden ground, find the center, abide at the source. They wish to find the intoxicating and tantalizing core of the silent fire of Life itself at the heart of all,

Join us as we sweep through the deeper musings of mystics of the western tradition. We will read brief excerpts and puzzle out their meanings in Zoom sessions twice each month, sharing insights and experiences in a safe circle.
